Sequoia Parks Conservancy

Sequoia Parks Conservancy is excited to announce our first Brand Ambassador, actor Martin Henderson. Martin is a New Zealand actor residing in LA. Known for his roles on the ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Nathan Riggs, and for starring in the new show Virgin River on Netflix where he plays the male lead, Jack Sheridan.

Martin is an avid outdoorsman having spent his formative years exploring and enjoying the New Zealand wilderness and while also becoming an expert sailor, one of his life passions.

After living in LA for some time with his best mate, dog Sammy, and yearning to spend time outdoors, a friend introduced him to the Sierra Nevada and Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, where he has said to have found peace, solace and adventure amongst the daily stresses of Hollywood. As SPC’s first ambassador, Martin is honored and impassioned to help garner support for SPC and bring awareness to the many programs that we support.

We are over the moon to welcome Martin as Sequoia Parks Conservancy’s first ambassador, and we thank him for his engagement and support!
